We bought our own static caravan in 2009 and remember that the process was not as straight forward as we would have liked and we could have been on site sooner if we knew then what we know now. Hopefully our experiences can help you either buy your first static caravan holiday home if if you already own one enhance the experience.
Static caravans are a different prospect to what they were even just a few years ago. Models are available with good insulation, double glazing and central heating in fact they are home from home and all feature modern fixtures and fittings. It is up to your requirements and your budget which caravan you buy and if you follow the guides we have written you should get the lifestyle you are seeking and a holiday destination for many years to come.
Our caravan was sited March 2009 so we have had one full season and we have all really enjoyed it especially Harry our dog. We had some good weather last year which helps but one thing I can recommend is that if the site allows it get some decking fitted.
